day 4- your sibling/closest relative
dear em,
you’re not really related to me but you’re my sister no matter what shit comes our way. you’ve been in my life since i was less than 1 and you’re going to stay in my life until i die. i’ve always looked up to you and i never will stop looking up to you. you inspired me to do tang soo do and thank god you did. aha i wouldnt be half as bold as i am now. then there were your friends at tang soo do who adored me because i was 3 and breaking boards that you broke when you were 11. i loved hanging out and becoming best friends with you and patrick(aka. mr. stevens) at karate world. then there were the times you would do my hair and makeup. basically i was your little sister.
and now that we’re a good 650 miles away, its harder to talk to you and to get advice about what i should do. but i still think about you even though you’re back in atlanta and im in fort wayne. i’ll be in drama at school and just think “what would em tell me to do?” no matter how cliche it sounds its true.
i hope we can do another meetup because the last one was wayy too short. i cant catch up with you on 4 years in less than 4 hours. its just not enough time to talk.
